Check before you go: Space Mountain has been closed since mid-2024 for a full rebuild, expected to reopen in 2027 — it won't be running for most of 2026. Fantasy Springs needs a plan. It's the newest, most in-demand area of DisneySea — decide up front whether you want to buy a Priority Pass or Premier Access to avoid the longest waits, since free timed-entry slots for the area can run out early in the day.
Rope-drop your priority ride. Whichever ride matters most to your family, do it first — waits balloon fast after the first hour, especially for Frozen and Toy Story Mania.
DisneySea has more (and better) food. If food is part of the experience for your family, lean toward spending the "relaxed eating" day at DisneySea.
Bring a poncho for Splash Mountain and Aquatopia. Both will genuinely soak you, more than you expect.
